Bus/Van Monitor
Job Summary
The Bus/Van Monitor ensures the safety, security, and orderly behavior of students during school bus/van transpotration.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with students
Responsibilities
- Maintain order, enforce safety rules, and manage student behavior
- Ensure safety of students during transportation, including loading, unloading, and maintaining safe driving environment.
- Reporting of all observed student injuries, accidents, illnesses and discipline problems to your supervisor in a timely manner.
- Managing seat belts or specialized equipment
- Act as a liaison between students, drivers, and school personnel
- Maintain order among students, enforcing policies, and communicating with students, and school staff
- Maintaining a clean vehicle at all times
- Other duties as assigned
