Overview:
Responsible for coordinating the component validation (DVP&R) and experiments on mechatronic Electrical and Electronic Hardware and Software components.
Responsibilities:
Component Validation
- Develop component validation test plans in accordance with OEM standards
- Develop integration test plans, including non-regression tests
- Develop testing timeline and budget, monitor supplier progress, and provide regular budget and timing status updates to the core team
- Ensure traceability of requirements with test plans
- Ensure completion of tests and write test reports
- Create and document CAR (Control Anomaly Report)
- Participate in CAR Review
- Validate CAR correction
- Consolidate workload forecast and identify necessary resources of test plans
- Anticipate material needs and coordinate use of parts between testing facilities
Test improvement
- Work on tools to improve traceability and test automation.
Expertise and Know-how improvement
- Develop Expertise by capitalizing lessons learned and sharing information
- Update impacted documents or create missing ones when needed.
- Introduce new tools and way of working to improve efficiency
- Propose improvement on Mechatronic process
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Mechatronics, Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- First experience in testing and mechatronics.
- Hands-on experience with electronic component testing. Experience supporting battery-related testing and validation activities is considered a plus.
- Open to travel as required for prototype builds, test support, and pre- and post-test part analysis activities
