Job RequirementsPosition Summary
The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and breaking down the hotel’s complimentary breakfast area while providing excellent customer service to guests. This role ensures food quality, cleanliness, and a welcoming dining environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up breakfast area each morning (food, beverages, utensils, seating)
- Prepare and restock food items (hot and cold items such as eggs, waffles, pastries, fruit, coffee, etc.)
- Maintain cleanliness of dining area, kitchen, and serving stations
- Monitor food levels and replenish items promptly
- Ensure proper food safety and sanitation standards are followed
- Greet guests and provide friendly, helpful service
- Clean and sanitize tables, counters, and equipment regularly
- Wash dishes and manage waste disposal
- Break down and clean breakfast area after service ends
- Report maintenance or safety issues to management
Work Experience
Previous hospitality or food service experience preferred
Strong customer service skills
Ability to work early morning shifts (including weekends and holidays)
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25–30 lbs
