Description
The Server Assistant plays a key role in supporting the restaurant team to deliver exceptional hospitality. This position enhances the guest experience by ensuring dining areas are guest-ready, buffets are replenished and presentable, food is delivered promptly, and guests are warmly greeted and seated when needed.
How You’ll Shape The Experience & Future
- Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently, maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment.
- Monitor buffet stations, replenish items, uphold cleanliness and presentation standards, and assist guests as needed.
- Deliver food orders promptly and accurately, ensuring proper presentation and plate placement.
- Greet and seat guests, assist with reservations and waitlists, and provide host support as required.
- Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to maintain high service standards.
- Keep service areas—including side stations, beverage stations, and bussing stations—organized and clean.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with special requests and tasks assigned by supervisors to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Friendly, professional, and positive attitude.
- Reliability and flexibility in supporting multiple areas of the restaurant.
- Commitment to maintaining high hospitality and cleanliness standards.
- Previous hospitality or restaurant experience preferred, but not required.
- Experience in bussing, food running, or guest services is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ongoing training provided on the job to support success in this role.
