Hiring Rate: $10.70/hr plus tips (NYS restaurant wage)

Hilton Pearl River, a full-service luxury hotel located 20 minutes from New York City in Rockland County (NY) and bordering Bergen County (NJ), is seeking an organized, energetic, hands-on professional to join our exceptional Two Henrys Restaurant team as a Restaurant Server who can work a part time weekend and holiday shift every Saturday and Sunday morning.

We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic and professional candidates to fill this role. The Two Henrys part time Server is responsible for taking food and drink orders from and serving all guests in a fast, courteous and efficient manner. The server must ensure correct billing procedures and provide excellent service to guests, ensuring level of service meets the Company's standards. As a Two Henrys server, your goal is to ensure our guest’s satisfaction and provide an exceptional dining experience. The server must be able to work weekends and evenings.

Specific Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to work with a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be a friendly, upbeat person who enjoys anticipating guests’ needs and delivering consistently great service
• Must be able to work quickly in a confined area and stand for extended periods of time
• Able to lift and carry twenty pounds
• Strong customer service skills
• Must enjoy working as part of a team, but also be a self-starter who will take ownership of any issue that might prevent a guest from leaving fully satisfied
• Able to perform any necessary pre-shift side work, ensuring proper setup and cleanliness
• Accustomed to “clean as you go” work habits, including keeping guest tables neat and keeping the service station clean, neat, and supplied at all times
• Able to thoroughly learn the menu, wine list, and specials, including ingredients and allergens; ability to make recommendations and suggestions, and to up-sell the menu items
• Capable of taking accurate orders for food and drinks, and sending clear orders to the bar and kitchen through the POS
• Able to communicate with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure complete guest satisfaction and guest safety

Education:

• High School graduate or equivalent required

Experience:

• Prior server experience desired
• Shift is EVERY Saturday and Sunday morning and is a requirement. Must be flexible to work other shifts and days when needed.
