Bartender/Server Part time

We are looking for a part time reliable, responsible and self sufficient employee to grow with our small restaurant and bar.

SHIFTS NEEDED: CONSISTENTLY BE AVAILABLE FRIDAY AND SATURDAY 4PM-CL

We are looking for someone to consistently be here on Friday and Saturday shifts.

Availability MUST be open this summer for the weekends. There will be an opportunity for more hours later in the summer and or when shifts need to be covered outside of Friday and Saturday. Potential for more hours.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area

- Expected to do opening and closing procedures and stay till last customer leaves
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Upsell food and beverage items to increase sales
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Monitor customer behavior and intervene as needed to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of Toast POS system is a plus
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong cash handling abilities with accuracy and attention to detail
- Familiarity with food service procedures and standards
- Ability to upsell and promote menu items effectively
- Basic math skills for calculating bills, making change, and handling tips
- Exceptional hospitality skills to provide excellent customer service
- Understanding of food safety regulations and practices
