Duties

• Operate dishwashing machinery and hand-wash items as needed to ensure all kitchenware, utensils, and equipment are spotless and ready for use
• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas to meet health and safety standards
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as basic chopping, portioning, or packaging under supervision
• Support catering and banquet setups by bussing tables, organizing service stations, and ensuring timely replenishment of supplies
• Handle food handling responsibilities with care, adhering to proper hygiene protocols at all times
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to facilitate smooth food service operations during busy periods
• Ensure proper disposal of waste and recycling materials to maintain a clean working environment

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
• Familiarity with kitchen operations including bussing, cleaning, and basic food prep is advantageous
• Experience working in banquet or catering settings will be considered a plus
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices is desirable
• Prior hospitality or hotel experience can enhance your ability to excel in this role
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting culinary and dining operations
