Housekeeper

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and surface cleaning to ensure a pristine environment.
• Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to uphold hygiene standards.
• Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items.
• Maintain floor care through sweeping, scrubbing, carpet cleaning, and applying appropriate treatments to preserve flooring quality.
• Manage manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or equipment safely and effectively.
• Utilize janitorial and custodial experience to clean surfaces, windows, bathrooms, kitchens, and outdoor areas as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning requirements and provide excellent customer service.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained properly and used according to safety guidelines.
• Follow time management practices to complete tasks within designated schedules while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Support housekeeping management by assisting with inventory control of cleaning supplies and reporting maintenance issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles with knowledge of janitorial or custodial procedures.
• Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong manual handling skills with the physical ability for heavy lifting and outdoor work when necessary.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their needs.
• Knowledge of cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper application methods.
• Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple locations.
• Previous experience in residential housekeeping or related fields is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.

Pay: $400.00 - $600.00 per week
