Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel. The Hotel General Manager will be responsible for managing staff, budgets, and guest relations, while fostering a positive environment for both employees and guests.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk management, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Manage budgeting processes, revenue management, and financial reporting to achieve profitability goals.
- Supervise and lead hotel staff, providing training and support to ensure exceptional performance in all departments.
- Coordinate human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and employee relations.
- Maintain effective communication with guests to address inquiries, resolve issues, and enhance overall guest relations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as hotel policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to maintain high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
- Manage night audit processes to ensure accurate financial reporting at the end of each day.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Knowledge of revenue management principles and budgeting processes.
- Experience with multi-line phone systems and proficient phone etiquette.
- Familiarity with front desk operations, night audit procedures, and guest services best practices.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing guest interactions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
