Duties

• Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately while adhering to food safety standards
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions efficiently
• Take customer orders with enthusiasm, upsell menu items, and provide exceptional customer service
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including bussing tables and food handling stations
• Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering duties and balancing registers
• Assist in food prep tasks, including cooking, assembling sandwiches or meals, and ensuring quality standards are met
• Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks such as food preparation, serving, and cleaning

Requirements

• Prior experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper sanitation procedures
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for retail transactions
• Strong time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math, and inventory counts
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
• Experience in cashiering, serving, bussing tables, or kitchen work within the food industry or retail settings is advantageous
