Breakfast Attendant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests during breakfast hours, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up the breakfast area with food and beverages in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly and attending to their needs during breakfast service.
• Assist with food preparation, including cooking, meal preparation, and presentation of breakfast items.
• Maintain inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to food safety standards.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food items to guests.
• Perform cleaning duties post-service to maintain a hygienic environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, including roles such as server, host/host, or barista.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are crucial for guest relations.
• Experience with kitchen tasks such as cooking, food preparation, and cleaning is highly valued.
• Familiarity with POS systems (Aloha POS or Micros POS) is advantageous but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining high standards of service.
