Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of facilities and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, mechanical repairs, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency within the workplace.
Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues, including working with logic controllers and schematics.
- Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities.
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion.
- Perform residential painting and other general maintenance tasks as needed.
- Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.
- Document all maintenance activities, including repairs made and parts used.
- Help perform preventative Maintenance.
Skills
- Proficient in electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise projects effectively.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
- Experience with logic controllers is preferred.
- Knowledge of residential painting techniques is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
