Job Summary
Overall coordination of all maintenance requirements to support meeting and/or exceeding established Resort goals. Supervise hourly and salaried employees in the assigned department and/or departments. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of direct reports. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Resort's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Essential Functions
· Order parts and supplies as needed. Inventory on a regular schedule to ensure availability of parts and supplies. Restock inventory with commonly used supplies.
· Overall coordination of Resort property and equipment maintenance.
· Ensure the maintenance of all equipment.
· Develop and maintain all preventive maintenance programs.
· Ensure use of and compliance with the administration of work order and PM scheduling and tracking systems.
· Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies to support the plant and plant operations.
· Plan and coordinate department's activities to support Resort’s targets and meet and/or exceed management and/or owner's expectations.
· Actively participate on assigned teams and/or projects.
· Ensure assigned departments perform tasks as outlined.
· Participate in identifying hiring needs, employee selection and training process.
· Provide communication on departmental expectations, motivates team members, and identifies opportunities for improvement.
· Provide team leadership.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in electrical systems, and industrial maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with project management principles and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in English with excellent communication skills to effectively lead a team and interact with other departments.
- Experience using tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical testing is preferred.
