As a Laundry Supervisor at Los Abrigados Resort and Spa in Sedona, AZ you will be responsible for carrying out your position's responsibilities and driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
What Will I be doing?
- Supervise and evaluate the performance, needs, and quality of work of Laundry Attendants.
- Wash, dry, sort, press, and fold linens, terry, and other fabrics in accordance with property standards.
- Inspect linens and terry products to ensure quality standards are met and identify damaged or unusable items.
- Treat stained fabrics and remove damaged items from circulation following established discard and bio-hazard procedures.
- Track, document, and report all linen and terry discards in accordance with property policy.
- Maintain and assist with operational reports, including production poundage, discards, and bio-hazard documentation.
- Monitor laundry supply inventory and requisition tools, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Clean, wax, and maintain laundry equipment to ensure safe and effective operation.
- Complete all required checklists and training documentation related to equipment (i.e., washers, dryers, steam presses, and folders).
- Review and adhere to Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all chemicals, ensuring compliance with safety requirements.
- Identify and report safety concerns or incidents to management promptly.
- Work flexible hours, including swing shifts, weekends, and public holidays, as business needs require.
