As a PBX operator your responsibilities include:

• Provide efficient and positive communication to all incoming calls by providing timely attention to guest or owners while addressing needs and requests.

• Coordinate guests and owners requests and concerns to departments to ensure completion and follow-up for guest happiness.

• Deliver professional hospitality and information to all guests, owners, and team members.

• Commitment and dedication to our Spirit of Service culture is encouraged behavior to be displayed at all times.

• Balance multiple responsibilities and prioritize duties based on importance with ease.

• Assists in maintaining communication equipment such as voicemail, faxes, copies for guests and mail delivery.

• Maintains any pertinent departmental log sheets, checklists and/or reports.

• Assist with other departments as needed and carries out other reasonable requests by management.

Responsibilities

Key skills and experience:

• Related work experience

• Proficiency reading, writing and speaking in English

• Projects a cheerful and friendly tone of voice using detailed enunciation and transparency in speaking

• Understands switchboard procedures and demonstrates ability to operate system with minimal complaints

• Demonstrates perfection in service quality standards that affect guest happiness, responding to guests in a timely and professional manner

• A professional attitude that prevails when handling upset guests and difficult situations

• Able to work a flexible work schedule including night, weekends and holidays

• High school diploma or equivalent

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

• Prior high-volume switchboard experience

• Previous experience working in the hospitality industry
