We are seeking a friendly, professional, and guest-focused Guest Service Representative to join our front desk team at Hilton Garden Inn. The ideal candidate enjoys helping people, provides exceptional customer service, and can confidently manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Position Overview
The Guest Service Representative is responsible for creating a welcoming experience for every guest from arrival through departure. This position serves as a primary point of contact for guests and plays an important role in ensuring their stay is comfortable, efficient, and enjoyable.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and warmly greet guests upon arrival.
- Complete guest check-in and check-out accurately and efficiently.
- Process room reservations, cancellations, payments, and guest requests.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, local attractions, and transportation.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest questions, concerns, and requests.
- Handle guest issues and complaints with patience, courtesy, and appropriate follow-through.
- Maintain accurate guest records and ensure all front desk transactions are properly documented.
- Answer and direct telephone calls and respond to guest inquiries in person and by phone.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other hotel departments regarding room status and guest needs.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby area.
- Follow hotel policies, safety procedures, and guest-service standards.
- Protect guest privacy and maintain confidentiality of guest information.
- Assist with other front desk and hotel duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous hotel, hospitality, customer service, or front desk experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional, friendly, and positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional when handling challenging situations.
- Comfortable using computers and learning hotel reservation/front desk systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
