Position Summary
The Front Desk Agent / Night Auditor is responsible for managing guest check-in and check-out processes, handling reservations, and performing nightly audit functions. This position requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to work independently during overnight hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure
- Execute efficient and accurate check-in and check-out procedures
- Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations
- Respond promptly and effectively to guest inquiries and concerns
- Answer and direct incoming calls in a courteous manner
- Maintain accurate guest records and billing information
- Balance cash drawer and complete shift reports
Night Auditor Responsibilities
- Perform end-of-day audit procedures and reconcile all hotel transactions
- Generate, review, and verify daily financial reports
- Ensure accuracy of room rates, charges, and payment postings
- Prepare audit reports for management review
- Maintain a safe and secure environment during overnight hours
- Promote the Hilton Honors program and hotel amenities
- Communicate effectively with housekeeping and maintenance teams
- Ensure full compliance with Hilton brand standards and company policies
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred
- Night audit or accounting experience is a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently during overnight shifts
- Basic computer proficiency; PMS experience preferred
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Professional demeanor and positive attitude
