What You'll Be Doing:
- Help lead and supervise the banquet staff, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Act as the Manager on Duty (MOD) in the absence of the Banquet Manager, overseeing all aspects of event operations.
- Oversee event setup, including arranging tables, chairs, tablecloths, place settings, and buffets.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely food and beverage service.
- Greet clients and guests, addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
- Ensure that all staff adhere to safety and quality regulations.
- Monitor event timelines and adjust as necessary to ensure client satisfaction.
- Conduct pre-event meetings to inform staff of event details and guest expectations.
- Provide exceptional hospitality by consistently exceeding guest expectations.
- Assist with event breakdown and cleanup, ensuring the venue is restored to its original condition.
