Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation quality and proper food handling procedures
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage cash handling, billing, and cashiering responsibilities efficiently and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food preparation when needed
- Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage guest seating efficiently and optimize restaurant flow
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders while adhering to food safety regulations
- Foster positive guest relations through excellent communication, attentive service, and genuine hospitality
- Support team members during busy hours by assisting with host/hostess duties or other restaurant operations
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and billing purposes
- Previous experience in serving, bartending, or host/hostess roles within the food industry is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is a plus
