• Assist in menu planning and development, considering nutritional needs and preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cooking areas.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service and catering events.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.

• Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or dietary department setting.
• Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and culinary methods.
• Familiarity with food handling procedures and food safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Excellent knife skills and proficiency in using various kitchen equipment.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
