We are seeking a hands-on and service-driven Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead daily restaurant operations and support the team in delivering consistent, high-quality guest service.
This role is responsible for floor leadership, service execution, and team accountability. The ideal candidate leads by example, maintains professionalism under pressure, and ensures that guests are acknowledged, served promptly, and leave with a positive experience—especially during high-volume periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant, bar, and/or café operations
- Lead by example on the floor, ensuring guests are greeted promptly and attended to
- Monitor service flow and step in to support the team during peak periods
- Coach and guide team members on service standards and professionalism
- Address guest concerns in a timely and service-focused manner
- Ensure compliance with brand standards, food safety, and cleanliness
- Assist with scheduling, shift coverage, and daily assignments
- Conduct pre-shift briefings and communicate priorities clearly
- Complete shift reports, incident documentation, and follow-ups as needed
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations
Leadership Expectations
- Maintain a visible presence on the floor during service
- Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable in a respectful manner
- Address service gaps immediately (e.g., missed greetings, delays, lack of attention)
- Promote a no-drama, team-first environment
- Support training and development of new and existing team members
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Food & Beverage (restaurant, bar, or hotel environment)
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Food Safety Certification (or ability to obtain)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
