Customer Solutions Specialist
Job Summary
The Customer Solutions Specialist is responsible for driving sales growth through direct, face-to-face customer engagement while providing excellent ongoing customer service. This role combines outside sales activities with strong customer support to build long-term relationships, retain accounts, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Outside Sales Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular outside sales visits with existing and prospective customers.
- Identify new sales opportunities and follow up on leads.
- Prepare quotes and assist with closing new accounts.
- Promote company products, services, and programs based on customer needs.
- Represent the company professionally during customer visits and community or industry events.
Customer Service Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, orders, and service needs.
- Ensure order accuracy, timely follow-up, and clear communication with customers.
- Resolve customer concerns or complaints professionally and escalate when needed.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support retention and satisfaction.
Account & Sales Support:
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity notes in company systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and service delivery.
- Support sales promotions, product education, and special initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience in outside sales, account management, or customer service preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in the field.
- Comfortable using email, and Microsoft Office tools.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel locally for customer visits.

Work Environment & Expectations:
