Information Technology Monitoring Analyst
Hillyard, Inc. is currently taking applications for It Monitoring Analyst for our IT team in St. Joseph, MO.
The IT Monitoring Analyst evaluates and analyzes networks, infrastructure, servers, applications, and services to ensure they are performing optimally using various monitoring and testing tools with the goal of ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the systems or processes. They play a proactive role in collaborating with the IT department and the bridge the technology gap with the business to monitor system performance and reliability, test updates, identify potential issues and defects, troubleshoot and resolve problems, and maintain overall integrity of systems.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities:
- Design, write and execute various types of test cases such as technical, functional, regression, and customer scenario testing.
- Collaborate to identify and implement improvements and ensure uptime and reliability.
- Identify potential issues and implement preventative measures.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes to improve overall customer experience.
- Review and analyze results and data to troubleshoot problems, identify trends, and optimize performance.
- Participate in incident response and resolution activities as needed.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies
Qualifications Include:
- 3 to 5 years relevant experience.
- Strong analytical skills to review and interpret data effectively and to assess and understand complex system issues.
- Technical proficiency to work with various tools and software to operate in an environment using Microsoft Azure, SQL, SAP S/4 HANA Public, SAP BTP.
- Effective communication skills to report and explain findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot and assist in the resolution of issues identified.
- Understanding of IT protocols, operations, performance standards, development practices, APIs, and cloud solutions.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving system integration issues.
- Discernment when to escalate or implement certain levels of risk mitigation.
- Attention to detail for identifying any irregularities or issues in data or processes.
- Experience with role-based access control methods, data integration concepts and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process and SQL databases.
- Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
