Hillyard, Inc. is currently taking applications for Floor Finishing Supervisor for our Flooring team in Lancaster, PA.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities:

• Supervise and participate in all phases of gym floor refinishing.
• Manage a crew technicians, providing direction, support, and training as needed.
• Ensure proper use of tools, machinery, and materials while adhering to safety standards and Hillyard best practices.
• Inspect completed work for quality, ensuring that floors meet company standards and client expectations.
• Coordinate with project managers and clients to ensure work is completed on schedule and within budget.
• Troubleshoot issues that may arise during the finishing process and provide solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of projects timelines, crew hours, and materials used.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools used in the finishing process.

Qualifications Include:

• 4 year Bachelors Degree in Management or related field preferred.
• 2 years of experience with Gym floor finishing or related field.
• Proven experience in gym floor finishing or a related field, with a solid understanding for the refinishing process.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Ability to operate floor machines, automatic scrubbers, and finishing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality work.
• Exceptional communication, problem solving, and empathy skills to consistently deliver outstanding customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet.
• Physically capable of performing hands-on work, including lifting and operating heavy machinery.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
