Hillview Auto Body has been proudly serving Rhode Island since 1980. We are a busy, high-quality collision repair facility committed to exceptional craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking a skilled Automotive Painter to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicles and panels for refinishing
- Mix and apply PPG paint products to manufacturer specifications
- Perform seamless color matching and blending
- Inspect completed work to ensure the highest quality standards
- Maintain paint booth and equipment
- Work efficiently while maintaining exceptional workmanship
- Collaborate with body technicians and management to meet production deadlines
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of professional automotive painting experience
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with PPG automotive paint systems (required)
- Ability to accurately color match using both computerized and manual techniques
- Experience with surface preparation, masking, priming, blending, and refinishing
- Strong understanding of OEM paint and refinishing procedures
- Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
