Job Summary
Join our dedicated team as a Resident Aide working the 10 PM to 6 AM shift in an assisted living community. Responsibilities
- Monitor residents throughout the overnight shift, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Observe and document residents’ health status, including vital signs and any changes in condition
- Administer medications as prescribed, following proper protocols and documentation procedures
- Respond promptly to residents’ needs or emergencies, utilizing skills such as first aid and CPR when necessary
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks and sanitizing common areas
- Support residents with meal preparation or feeding assistance as needed, ensuring nutritional needs are met
Requirements
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care environments preferred
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members
- Ability to understand, remember, and carry out verbal and written instructions in English
- Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents
- Must be 18 and legally allowed to work in the United States
- Must have reliable transportation
