Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Janitor/Maintenance worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our facility and grounds. Ideal candidates will have the ability to perform routine maintenance on the machines and facilities.
Responsibilities
Conduct floor care.
Handle industrial cleaning tasks to ensure cleanliness and safety
Assist with porter duties such as trash removal and getting recyclable materials ready for pickup.
Perform snow removal tasks.
Experience
Ability to use basic hand tools, tape measure, calipers, micrometers, air grinders, etc.
Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and maintenance
Must be able to identify and organize scrap materials.
Experience in industrial cleaning practices
Ability to maintain cleanliness in various settings
Forklift driving is a plus.
Requirements
Must have reliable transportation and ability to drive to short distances.
Must be physically capable of wearing protective eye and footwear.
Must be capable of lifting 30lbs., occasionally 50lbs.
