Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Paraprofessional to join our team and support classroom teachers in delivering high-quality education. Responsibilities
- Assist teachers with lesson planning and classroom activities to ensure engaging and effective instruction.
- Support literacy education and math instruction tailored to individual student needs.
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive classroom environments.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support for students with disabilities, including those with autism or other special needs.
- Help facilitate curriculum development aligned with educational standards and student requirements.
- Supervise children during classroom activities, recess, lunch, and other school events.
- Maintain clear communication with teachers, parents, and specialists regarding student progress and behavior.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of special education practices, including working with students with disabilities or autism, is advantageous.
- Familiarity with early childhood education, preschool or daycare environments, and Montessori or Toddler care approaches is beneficial.
- Strong classroom management skills and experience in behavior management strategies are essential.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families.
