- Works with regional superintendents, principals, assistant principals, content supervisors, academic coaches, teachers, and the community.
- Visits schools regularly and as often as circumstances dictate for both assistance and evaluation. Investigates and responds to complaints about schools and school personnel.
- Manages and resolves high priority issues focused on safety and crisis management.
- Monitors all school related improvement and achievement data, including achievement, discipline, and attendance data.
- Gathers and utilizes data to drive professional development and improvement initiatives across the district.
- Supports the implementation of the overall curriculum improvement program to learner outcomes.
- Provides leadership for improving the instructional program and, when appropriate, recommends proposals for curriculum changes.
- Conducts and/or attends principal meetings, principal’s council meetings, Superintendent's Staff meetings, school faculty meetings, school board meetings, and other appropriate meetings and/or functions.
- Assists in interpreting the instructional program in the community; cooperates with community, service, and professional agencies and organizations.
- Prepares annual budget requests for operation of the department, special programs, and/or projects.
- Keeps the Chief, of Transformation Network, informed of all important school related matters.
- Performs any other duties as assigned.

Executive Director, Instructional Leadership, Transformation Network
Under the direction of and reporting directly to the Chief of Transformation Network, the Executive Director, Instructional Leadership, Transformation Network, will work collaboratively with the regional superintendents and other district personnel, providing leadership and supervision across all Transformation Network Schoolsto assure fidelity in the implementation of district and state policies and practices leading to sustained school improvement.
Specific Duties:
Qualifications:
Education: A master’s degree is required. Degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, Supervision, Change Management or the like required.
Experience: Three (3) years of classroom teaching experience, with three (3) years of related management or supervisory experience required. Educational Leadership experience preferred.
Certificates/Licenses/Registrations: Florida Professional Educator Certificate in Educational Leadership, School Principal, or Administration and Supervision required.
