Role Highlights
- Promote Student Success: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that foster academic growth and meet diverse learning needs.

- Maintain Professional Standards: Perform all instructional and related duties in accordance with District policies and the teacher contract.
- Protect Privacy: Handle confidential information regarding students, staff, and district patrons with the utmost integrity.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure: A valid State of Oregon Teaching License appropriate for the position with the correct endorsement.
- Education: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Communication: Proficient oral and written communication skills in English. Ability to follow complex oral and written instructions.
- Cultural Competency: Proven ability to effectively work and communicate with students, parents, and staff from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
- Tech Savviness: Proficiency in standard computer/internet applications and a willingness to learn new digital systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual Skills: Bilingual English/Spanish fluency (reading, writing, and speaking) is highly preferred. Fluency will be determined by a District screening tool.
