Material Handler & Inventory Clerk

Material Handler/Inventory Clerk (Full Time – Non-Exempt)

Manually move freight, stock, luggage, or other materials, and perform other general labor. Includes all manual laborers not elsewhere classified.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, by hand or using hand trucks, forklift, or other equipment.

2. Read picklist or receive oral instructions to gather materials or parts and deliver to the production lines.

3. Ensure all parts are correctly labeled and identified with the proper information.

4. Ensuring all parts are in designated areas according to company guidelines.

5. Stack materials in appropriate locations, such as inventory shelving, outdoor staging areas, and production lines.

6. Assist in safely loading finished goods trailers.

7. Accurately count inventory being delivered and as needed for cycle counting.

8. Production support in assembly of kits, toolboxes and utility trailers as needed.

9. Maintain a well-organized and clean warehouse.

10. Assist in other areas of production

11. Other duties as assigned including filing, organizing, and printing/delivering job orders and paperwork throughout the facility

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Forklift experience is required. 
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Ability to read and understand job orders and packing slips. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs. by hand. Strong attention to detail. Basic math skills required. Self-motivated. Excellent work ethic and ability to work within a fast-paced team environment.
