What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full time Dispatcher position at Hillsboro Aero Academy?
Hillsboro Aero Academy is looking for an outgoing, well-organized individual with excellent customer service skills to join the dispatch team at our Hillsboro campus. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient flight environment for customers and employees from around the world.
Please note: This is a non-certified dispatcher position, FAA certification is not required.
Job Duties:
- Uphold standard operating procedures of HAA and regulations of FAA
- Actively participate in HAA safety culture
- Maintain aircraft schedule once posted by the Scheduling Department
- Communicate directly with maintenance department for scheduled and unscheduled resource maintenance
- Aviation radio and multi-line phone
- Auditing flight logs for accurate billing and training records
- Dispatch office organization and upkeep
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Licenses:
- Valid driver's license with good driving record preferred
- High School Diploma
Required Skills/Experience:
- Excellent customer service
- Safety conscious approach to all tasks
- Proficient in multi-tasking
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Well organized
- Punctuality
- Team Player
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- General aviation knowledge
- Private pilot license
