What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatcher/Line Service Technician position at Hillsboro Aero Academy?
General Position Summary:
Primarily responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient flight environment for customers and employee from around the world. Working in a dual position, Dispatcher/Line Service Technician as necessary. This is a part time position, with 8-20 hours per week and may qualify for the employee discount.
Essential/major Responsibilities:
- Uphold safety standards of HAA
- Maintain aircraft schedule once posted by the Scheduling Department
- Accurate data maintenance data entry after each flight
- Invoice customers and employees for services and materials
- Use Aviation radio and multi-line phone
- Flight hours reporting
- Auditing flight logs and accurate billing
- Projects as assigned by management team
- General office cleaning and upkeep
- Fueling, towing and cleaning aircraft
- General facility upkeep
- Quality control for fueling operations including an underground storage tank
- Cleaning student housing in the local area
Specific Job Skills:

Education and/or Experience:
- Must possess Driver's License with good driving record and with the ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle
- Previous line service, facility maintenance and/or vehicle maintenance experience preferred
