Avionics Installation Manager – Hillsboro, OR
Job Description:
Hillsboro Aero Academy's operations are expanding, and we are now accepting applications for an Avionics Installation Manager experienced with installations and troubleshooting on airplanes and helicopters. This is a key position in a growing, dynamic general aviation company based in the Portland, OR area.
Job Duties:
- Overseeing and planning installation of new avionics equipment in airplanes and helicopters
- Troubleshooting and repair of installed avionics in customers' aircraft, including our flight school fleet of over 90 aircraft.
- Constant variation in dealing with new technology avionics as well as legacy equipment - no two days will be exactly alike.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with installations and repair of avionics in general aviation aircraft, experience in a managerial role preferred.
- Experience with avionics in both single and multi-engine airplanes and helicopters
- Experience with Garmin, Bendix-King
- Flexibility in work schedule
- Potential travel on short notice for limited duration
