A Regulatory Reporting Analyst is responsible for preparing and submitting financial reports to regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with industry rules and government regulations. They analyze financial data, monitor regulatory changes, and implement reporting controls to reduce compliance risks. This role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of financial reporting standards, and proficiency in data analysis tools. Regulatory Reporting Analysts work with billing and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely submissions.
Hilliary is a Telecommunications Voice and Broadband service provider that is responsible for regulatory mandated filings of 10 regulated Telephone companies and 5 non-regulated Broadband Internet Service companies.
Responsibilities
- Understand State & Federal Telecommunication Regulatory rules and requirements.
Pre-existing knowledge of telecommunications industry and regulatory rules is a plus.
- Prepare, analyze, and submit State regulated data reporting required in three (3) states.
- State Sales Tax and Fee revenue filings.
- Other regulated filings as required.
- Prepares, analyzes, and submits Federal regulated data reporting as required.
- Federal Tax and Surcharge filings.
- Lifeline subscriber benefit application and filings.
- Universal Service Fund reporting.
- Analysis of all regulated filings for accuracy and investigation of discrepancies.
- Responsible for supporting documents applicable to FCC Broadband reporting as required.
- Monthly, Quarterly and Annual State and Federal regulated filings as required.
- Archive monthly billing reports.
- Document retention of everything processed.
- Work in and keep organized multi-company regulated filings.
- Applicants must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Performs other Regulated duties and special projects as assigned.
