Hiller Comerford Injury & Disability Law is seeking a reliable and tech-savvy IT Support Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, assisting others with technology, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations. A degree is preferred but not required, experience, skills, and a willingness to learn are what matter most.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide front-line technical support for hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Set up and configure workstations, laptops, mobile devices, and user accounts.
- Troubleshoot issues related to printers, email, VPNs, and other office technologies.
- Respond to support requests via ticketing system, phone, email, or in person.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees.
- Escalate unresolved issues to senior IT staff, IT Manager, or external vendors as appropriate.
- Support basic cybersecurity awareness and best practices among users.
- Document solutions and contribute to the internal knowledge base.
Qualifications:
- Strong general computer knowledge and troubleshooting ability.
- Experience with Windows OS and Microsoft Office 365.
- Familiarity with printers, VoIP phones, and common office equipment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Customer-service mindset with the ability to explain technical issues in non-technical terms.
- Previous IT support or help desk experience preferred.
- Degree or IT certification (e.g., CompTIA A ) preferred but not required.
