The Role at a Glance This hands-on, dual-role position supports Hilldrup’s moving and storage operations by safely transporting customer belongings and managing warehouse activities. You will lead and support crews during moves, conduct vehicle inspections, and deliver exceptional customer service while also loading, unloading, wrapping, and securing goods in the warehouse. This physically demanding role requires teamwork, attention to detail, flexibility, and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and professionalism. How You’ll Contribute In this Combined Driver – Non CDL and Warehouse Associate role, you play a critical part in delivering a seamless moving and storage experience for Hilldrup customers. You oversee customer moves, lead and support a small crew, conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections, and safely transport household goods while representing Hilldrup with professionalism and care at every job site. You are also deeply involved in warehouse operations, where you load and unload shipments, wrap and secure furniture, inspect inbound freight, and document item conditions accurately. You help maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment and work closely with drivers, operations staff, service providers, and customers to ensure smooth coordination and high-quality service. This is a physically demanding role that requires you to lift heavy items, perform repetitive physical tasks, and work on your feet for extended periods in varying indoor and outdoor conditions. Dependability, punctuality, teamwork, and a strong safety mindset are essential, as you may handle high-volume workloads that fluctuate seasonally. As business needs change, you remain flexible and willing to assist with additional duties, including short-notice or local moves.
