What are the responsibilities and job description for the Music Therapist position at Hillcroft Services Inc?
This is a very fun and rewarding position providing music therapy services to individuals with disabilities.
Responsible to provide music therapy to clients in a 1:1 or group setting. Must use music therapy process as described in the Board Certification Domains distributed by the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT). Must also comply with the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA)
This position requires a bachelor's degree or higher in Music Therapy. Must have MT-BC credentials or is eligible to sit for the Music Therapy Board Certification Exam.
Must be able to physically assist clients as needed, and free to travel from site to site as needed.
Hillcroft Services - Benefits and Information
Paid leave is for employees regularly scheduled for 30 hours/week. The paid leave is based on your actual scheduled hours
- Sick leave – 7 days/calendar year based on annual scheduled hours, prorated and eligible to use after 90 days employment.
- Vacation – may be used at 6 months, where you have earned a minimum of one week based on your annual scheduled hours. At the end of one year, you will have accumulated two weeks vacation.
- Personal Leave – 2 days/calendar year, based on annual scheduled hours, prorated and eligible to use after 90 days.
- Holidays – the agency pays for 10 holidays per year.
