The Operating Room Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. He/ she is also responsible for directing and
coordinating all nursing care of critically ill patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards.
Job Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse license in Oklahoma.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support is required within six months of hire or upon signing a revised job description.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- One year experience as a Registered Nurse in an operating room environment.
- CNOR.
