- Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.
- The Wound RN Manager assists in managing staff in the care of patients related to skin care.
- This position is responsible for patient care coordination, working with the physician and staff nurse, providing direct operational support for the department, identifying barriers, and working toward resolution.
- The Manager acts as a clinical resource person for the hospital staff and in the planning of nursing interventions; acts as a liaison between staff and management, assisting the director in determining staffing needs and identifying and resolving problems within the department.
- The Nurse Manager serves as a communication link among patients, physicians, and others.
- The position facilitates problem resolution and collaborates with the Director to assess the quality of care provided, identifying staff strengths and weaknesses, and evaluating staff performance.
- The Manager interfaces with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care planning as required.
Job Requirements:
- Four-year bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited school
- WCC Certification, Oklahoma RN License
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
- Three (3) years of experience
