- Hillcrest Hospital Claremore is a 49-bed acute care medical center offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including maternity, cardiology, emergency, orthopedics, alcohol withdrawal stabilization, gastroenterology and surgery.
Learn About a Day in the Life of a Monitor Technician:
- Responsible for supporting the mission of the hospital.
- Monitor Technician under the direction and supervision of the ICU charge nurse.
- Responsible for monitoring the EKG patterns of patients on telemetry.
- Responsible for manning the nursing station.
- Performing clerical/receptionist duties, requisitioning supplies, equipment, and services from other departments.
- Transcribing/entering patient orders.
Job Requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Must have skills to respond quickly and calmly under stressful or emergency situations.
- Must possess written skills to write legibly.
- Good telephone etiquette.
- Clean, well-kept appearance.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Telemetry experience.
- Hospital experience.
