- Responsible for compliance with overall Hospital standards of the specialty area (Reports to the Department Director).
- Responsible for compliance with standards during assigned shift.
- Uses established principles of delegation and supervision to direct the activities of all therapists in the delivery of patient care during their assigned shift.
- Uses independent judgment to ensure optimal delivery of patient care and appropriate use of available resources.
Job Requirements:
- Must possess a current Oklahoma RCP license and preferred passed Registry for Respiratory Therapy (RRT)/CRT
- Minimum of Associates required
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- PALS.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Desirable characteristics include two years of experience in a hospital or medically related environment. With supervisory role experience.
