Overview
We are seeking dynamic and enthusiastic Host/Servers to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Host/Server, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently. Your ability to communicate effectively and provide outstanding customer service will be key to your success in this position.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system, preferably Toast POS.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
- Assist guests with menu selections and provide recommendations as needed.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during their visit.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Uphold high standards of food service and guest relations at all times.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Proficient in using POS systems, with experience in Aloha POS being a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of hotel or guest services is beneficial but not required.
- A friendly demeanor with the ability to help create a positive dining atmosphere.
