Regional Human Resources Director Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing | Fairfax, VAAs our Regional Human Resources Director, you will be a key strategic partner responsible for shaping HR initiatives across multiple long-term care facilities in a multi-state region. This position provides a unique opportunity to lead and develop HR operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive a positive, mission-focused culture that supports our dedicated healthcare professionals.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (HR certification preferred).Minimum 5 years of HR experience in long-term care (required).Proven success as an HR leader within healthcare, LTC, or skilled nursing settings.Strong working knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulatory compliance.Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.Ability to travel to multiple facilities within assigned region(s).Core ResponsibilitiesStrategic LeadershipDevelop and execute HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.Partner with executive leadership on workforce planning, talent acquisition, and retention strategies.Employee RelationsSupport facility HR teams with employee relations matters, investigations, and policy interpretation.Ensure consistent implementation of policies and procedures across all facilities.Talent ManagementOversee recruitment strategies and onboarding for high-impact roles.Implement growth and development programs that build career pathways and strengthen internal talent.Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Reduce organizational risk through proactive HR best practices and training.Performance ManagementLead performance review processes, development plans, and coaching initiatives.Partner with facility leadership to address performance concerns and implement corrective actions.Engagement & CulturePromote initiatives that foster employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.Serve as a trusted advisor and liaison between employees, management, and corporate leadership.Communication & CollaborationBuild strong partnerships with Administrators, Regional Vice Presidents, and HR Managers.Communicate HR initiatives clearly and effectively to all levels of the organization.Compensation & BenefitsCompensation is based on experience, education, skills, and performance history. Salary : $92,300 - $166,850
