Baker's Assistant

Retail and Wholesale Bakery located in Kaukauna looking to add to our baking team! No experience necessary - we will train!

Summary

Heavy focus on donut production including: cutting out donuts, screening donuts, frying, filling and icing. Focus on bench-work including: bread and bun doughs, running machines, various product production, finishing product, setting up and preparing for the following day, light cleaning daily including: cleaning up work station and work areas, cleaning and maintaining equipment used[i.e. fryers].

Job Type

• Part-time: Minimum of 25 hours required. Shift will start between 1 AM and 3AM depending on experience. Holiday weeks may require slightly earlier and longer shifts.
• Full-Time - Discussed in interview.
• Availability Tuesday - Saturday required for full time and part time Tuesday - Friday (one day off if needed) Saturdays required.
• Holiday Weeks: Shifts will vary shifts will be longer for part time and full time employees

Wage

• Starting at $16.00 / hour
• Wage negotiable based upon prior baking experience and skill level within the industry

Qualifications / Requirements

• Minimum 27 Hours / Week
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to push, pull or lift 50 unassisted.
• Stand and work on feet for entire shift
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to train and assist in other areas of the bakery when asked
• Reliable transportation
• Looking for someone reliable and motivated

Skills not required but helpful

• Experience in food and/or baking industry
• Knowledge of food handling and sanitation guideline
