AOT Team Lead Clinician - LPHA

The Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT) Team Lead is responsible for screening, assessment and intervention for participants in the Assisted Outpatient Treatment Program. This position will directly supervise the AOT team and will act as a liaison with the AOT Court representatives. The AOT Team Lead will provide intake assessments, counseling and coordination of care for AOT participants and will provide clinical case consultation with program stakeholders.

You will get to:

• Conduct screenings, intake assessments and provide intervention for AOT participants.
•  Works collaboratively with countywide stakeholders to enhance the overall quality of care and services provided across the agency in a trauma informed manner.
•  Represents Hill Country MHDD Centers during court hearings and court staffing.
•  Ensure AOT participants receive authorized services in a culturally competent and forensically appropriate manner.
•  Adheres to statutory requirements to ensure participants' continuity in the AOT program as clinically appropriate
•  Ensure clinical notes and completed in a timely manner and containing all information that is clinically appropriate.
•  Responsible for working with the local mental health clinics to ensure participants success during their time in the program and upon completion of the program.
•  Communicates with the court and collaborates with other program stakeholders to address any barriers to participants' success
•  Provides communication to the treatment team related to individual progress.
•  Demonstrates sensitivity to the cultural diversity of individuals, served family members, visitors, and fellow employees.
•  Assists in the monitoring of relevant standards, industry best practices, and evidence-supported practices ensuring that they meet and exceed healthcare training practices and statutory requirements.
•  Comply with agency policies and procedures, accrediting/regulatory bodies and performance contract documentation requirements.
•  Serve as representative of the AOT Program in the community to include providing community education regarding the AOT Program
•  Other duties as assigned.

You'll definitely need:

• A master's degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, sociology, behavioral or human services, or a related degree with the ability to credential as a Qualified Mental Health Professional.
• Current LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or Psychologist license; LPC Associates and LMSWs may be considered with supervision.
• Maintain valid Texas state Driver's License and auto insurance.
• Complete and maintain both CPR certification and Prevention and Management of Aggressive Behavior training within the first 3 months of employment.
