Bus Driver

Special Information:  Night and weekend work required.

Salary: $24.00 per hour 

Minimum Required Education:  

• High School Diploma or Equivalent 
• Prefer: Associate’s Degree 

Minimum Required Experience:  

• Two or more years in transportation services. 
• CDL License with passenger endorsement. 
• Two or more years of vehicle maintenance. 
• Clear driving record.. 

Essential Job Functions:  

• Coordinates and drives a Hill College vehicle to all off-campus trips. 
• Checks to ensure maintenance and safety of all college vehicles being used for transportation purposes. 
• Reports any maintenance or safety problems to the Facilities Coordinator. 
• Also responsible for the transportation of coaches and student-athletes to and from athletic events.

• Working knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repairs. 

Physical Requirements:  

• Medium work; Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Must have the physical dexterity required to operate a transportation vehicle including buses, cars, and vans. 
• Light bending, stooping, kneeling, or carrying.
