Quality Control Associate, 6:30am-3pm

Hilco Vision has a state-of-the-art facility in Fairfield, Ohio! We are currently searching for an experienced Quality Control Associate to join the team! The Quality Control Associate is responsible for inspecting manufactured and received products with respect to checklists and Quality processes.

The shift is 6:30 AM- 3:00 PM.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience working in Quality Control in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment and understanding of quality processes
• Attention to detail and follow processes as outlined in SOPs
• Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal modes of communication; document findings and processes thoroughly
• Handling multiple projects and responsibilities
• Speak, read, and write English as required to complete forms, quality inspections per SOPs, etc.
• Able to utilize the MS Office suite as necessary

Responsibilities:

• Supporting manufacturing floor which includes batch record review, visual inspection of equipment, logbook/document review, work order review, spec sheets, etc.
• Perform quality inspection on products and make sure the process is followed as per written work instruction.
• Work with the receiving team to inspect incoming materials and fill out a checklist sheet.
• Communicate with manufacturing & receiving supervisors if any non-conforming product is found.
• Perform AQL sampling on products that exist in inventory.
• Perform root cause analysis on customer complaints and provide useful insights to Quality assurance lead.

 Physical Requirements:

• This role requires the incumbent to stand and walk throughout the facility for the majority of each 8-hour shift
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds as necessary

Incentive Plan:

• Attendance- Employee must have worked 85% (148 hours) of the working days in a given month for the home department earning the incentive.
• Productivity- Must have efficiency more than 85% minimum for the month.
• Violations- If an employee receives a write up due to a policy violation or quality issue, they will not be eligible for the incentive for that month.
• Employment- Must be a full time Hilco employee for more than 30 days. The employee must be actively employed on the date of the incentive payout to receive it.
