Job Summary:
Manufacturing company in the West Chester Township area is looking for a Packaging Associate with Quality Control responsibilities ensures that all products are packaged, labeled, and inspected according to company and customer standards. This role combines hands-on packaging duties with quality control checks to maintain product integrity and compliance with established procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Package, label, and seal products according to work instructions and specifications.
Inspect products and packaging materials for defects, accuracy, and quality before shipment.
Verify counts, lot numbers, and product identification labels.
Record inspection data and maintain accurate documentation for quality tracking.
Follow company policies, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and ISO quality procedures.
Identify and report any nonconforming materials or packaging issues to the Quality or Production Supervisor.
Assist with in-process quality checks and final product audits.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to meet safety and quality standards.
Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the department.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
1–2 years of experience in packaging, manufacturing, or quality control preferred.
Knowledge of basic quality inspection methods and ISO or GMP standards a plus.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
Ability to read and follow written instructions, labels, and production documents.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
