- Assist clients with daily service functions and ad hoc requests, escalating issues as needed; including resolving enrollment and claims issues with carriers.
- Takes initiative with researching and resolving customer issues and concerns and proactively provide solutions to deliver timely and effective resolutions to customers
- Create and maintain client tracker with renewal dates to proactively support Open Enrollment processes.
- Request census data from client and/or carriers to support marketing efforts
- Request Benefit Guides from communications team; review for accuracy
- Request benefit plan summaries and SBC’s from carriers
- Coordinate MAPFML private plan exemption filings with clients.
- Coordinate completion of and/or complete paperwork related to new plan set up
- Education – High school diploma required; some college level coursework preferred
- Certification – Must obtain and maintain active Life/Accident and Health Insurance Agent License
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Exceptional relationship development skills, interpersonal and time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Working knowledge and understanding of group benefits/administration
